Hi,

CR10

I have report in which I’m using report total within one of calculated field but I’m always getting 0 for report total within calculation.

Dep1 10
Dep2 20
Dep3 10
Cal 60-10=50 <-This is calculation. (Dep1 – Total)
Dep4 10
Dep5 10

Total 60

How I can change report process flow that I can get report total first to calculate it into calculation.

Try using real technical terms when describing your work, making up terms doesn't help.

Crystal does not have a Report Total, it has summary fields and running totals, the latter of which aren't available until the end of the report.

Right click the field in the details and select Insert->Summary->Sum


Now that field is available for use throughout the report, and will be listed in the report fields within the formula editor.

Once you've used it you can delete it from the report canvas, or you can manually create the sum, as in:

sum({table.field})-{table.field}
