process Blocking

Hi


i have a problem with blocking sql tables
the same table is block by one user for long time
while other wait for min & min to continue.

how can i handle blocking

The best way to learn how to deal with blocking is to read SQL Server Books Online. It would be time consuming to write a brief article on locks, blocks and deadlocks here as there is so much that can be done in regards to prevention, detection and resolution of conflicts.

Also try looking in the FAQ section on this site, there may be something.
