Procedure to catalog a database 1

Hello.

Is it possible to create a procedure that do a uncatalog and a catalog of a database?
I have tree instaces. And i want to create a procedure in instace A, that do de uncatalog of instace B and catalog the instance C as B.
Is this possible?

you might be able to do that using an external procedure and the administrative C-API. I am not sure whether other APIs are capable of doing that. There are restrictions on what you can do when connected.

But I am not sure you really want to do that, check your application architecture.

executing a command line script doing that is no big deal and would be my prefered solution.
