procedure or function for table import

Hi,

instead of the manual import of a .csv file into an Access table is there possibly a function which I could look into which accomplishes this??

Thank you, but...

out of the 100 datasets, about 5 aren't imported, because Access seems to think that the column is a number column, whereby there are a few exceptions which appear in the later rows. I presume if the column had alphanumeric examples in the first few rows, it wouldn't presume its a number column. How do I get around this???
