I realize that this is probably a simple question but I have never used Exchange 2000 before. I am writing a procedure documentation for Veritas backup software and to restore the Exchange 2000 database you must first dismount any databases that are being restored with the Exchange System Manager utility. Could someone direct me to online documentation for the Exchange System Manager utility or better yet walk me through the process. Thanks a bunch.

Procedure for dismounting DB w/Exchange System Manager utility

Short version: In the Exchange System Manager just drill down to the server and store to be dismounted, right click on the store in question and select "dismount".
