Hello... anyone can teach me what's the procedures to change the options in an production DS1 board? Coz we're going to switch to another T1 provider that uses different Country Protocol, so that I need to change this option on our existing DS1 settings... Thanks a lot!!

In order to prevent possible corruption, I would recommend removing the members from the trunk group, removing the signalling group, deleting the DS-1 board and rebuilding it from scratch. Usually only takes a few minutes and can prevent a lot of headaches.

I would agree, remove the DS1 translation and start over from scratch. You will save yourself some headaches.

I like to build the new one first from scratch then after hours I will move the span between the DS1 boards. That's if you have spare DS1 cards. This way if something goes wrong I can fall back to the original and debug and so forth.

Just a thought

1a2 to ip I seen it all

I agree with 1a22ip. If you have a spare DS1 pack, build a new trunk group and then you can test without disturbing the production trunk group. Just create an aar or ars entry with a cell phone number or another test number and create a new route-pattern pointing to the new trunk group. Once the testing is done, change your primary route-pattern and remove the test route-pattern and the old trunk group.
