proc file sytem full

hi everybody,

my proc file system is becoming full with in short time. why it is happening? can anybody tell me? what should i do to avoid it. because of this the / is also becoming full and iam facing problems.

are you sure ??
did you read 'man proc' ??
/proc is a virtual file system only; it does not need
any space on your disks.
 
It's ok for proc to be full,


/proc is a filesystem that provides access to the image of each active process in the system. This was historically mounted as /debug. /proc does not consume any disk resources.
