Hi! I'm having a slight problem and I'm about ready to chuck my computer in the trash. I am unable to install anything on my PC because I lost or corrupted the Windows Installer on my Windows XP Home Edition. What can I do to obtain/fix the installer without reformatting.

Thanks,
Stephen

Try reregestering msiexec, details are in the first two articles. See if any of the other articles are helpful. It might help if you use the Disk Cleanup tool to delete your Tempory files too.
