Hello!
I have a problem with Windows 98....when I go to the device manager, then click the "performance" tab, it says that my file system and virtual memory is running in MS-DOS compatibility mode. They also say that if its running in this mode, it can slow down your computer. Also, on the "performance" screen, it has a white area with these three messages:
1. Compatibility-mode paging reduces overall system performance.
2. Drive C is using MS-DOS compatibility mode file system.
3. Drive D is using MS-DOS compatibility mode file system.
When I look at the details of each message, it says it has something to do with device drivers and to uninstall them, but I installed a few drivers today and its hard to track down which one it is exactly and it doesnt tell me with driver is giving the problem. Can someone help me out? Thank You!
