Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks in advance!!
My organization is finally begining to upgrade to Windows 2000, but this of course will be a slow migration. We plan to bring up all worksations first, followed by all servers. GREAT! My problem is this: All servers currently running WINNT 4.0 also are running Backup Exec ver 7.0 and these upcoming WIN2000 Pro workstations will need to run Remote administration (ver 8.0) for those WINNT servers. Veritas has told me that this will not work and I have three options:
1) upgrade all servers to ver 8.0
2) Stick with WINNT 4.0 workstations
3) upgrade all servers to WIN2000 with ver 8.0
Well, none of these options are feasible right now. Has anyone found a work around for this issue. THANKS!!!
