I know this is related to a BCM (I posted a similar question there), but you all have helped me a lot in the past. Maybe it is more of a general analog trunk question.
I have a BCM 50 with 3 analog trunks coming in from Bellsouth. The BCM is set for auto-answer to auto attendant on each line. The problem is that every so often the trunks are hanging as if they are not detecting disconnect. Unplugging the line and plugging it back up normally fixes the problem. They are all built as supervised trunks and all appear on sets as lines 1 through 3.
I don't deal with BCM systems and analog trunks as much as I do with my CS1000 and PRI, so maybe I am confused about how to configure these.
Any pointers to figuring this out? Should I have something changed at the CO?
