Problems with TIFF files 1

One of our clients sends us CDs with file information on them in .tif format. One of our secretaries, who runs XP Pro, cannot print these files to our big network printer which is a Gestetner photocopier also. Other people can do it with no problem. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere, but where? This wouldn't be a problem except these CDs usually have about 500 pages on them -- too much to send to a desktop HP. Does anyone have an answer? Thank you very much!!

Can she print anything to the printer? Can she print things that are not Tiff's? Is another printer selected when she goes to print Tiff's?

Yes, she can print non-tiff documents. She can only select one printer at a time so no other printer is selected.

I steal them from linney.
Note that alternatiff has its own print button; use that instead of the File, Print... choice in IE.
