Problems with the install of WAS 6.1 ND

I have downloaded the .zip and extracted to a folder. I can run launchpad.exe and see the options. Every installation wizard launches fine except the one for the Application Server. It throws up a javascript prompt for the location of the WAS ND cd. I enter the path to the extracted files and click ok and it does nothing...prompts me again.

any ideas?
