I have written a script using expect that calls cu to connect to another UNIX server and copy a file from the called server to the calling server.
If I do the steps manually I am able to complete the task. If I use the expect utility it dials out, connects and send the login id, then sits and waits for the Password prompt which never seems to show up, and finally it times out.
I also try using the autoexpect utility and then try the version that it created with the same results.
I have run these utilities with all kind of debuggers but I am at lost why it always stops to wait for the Password prompt
I am runing the utility in SCO V.6 and I am calling a SCO V.5.0.7
Can anyone give me a hint of what the problem may be?

Thanks in advance

Joe
