I am running premier 6.0. When making a clip slow motion I right click the green tap in the timeline, select speed, and reduce it to whatever percent I want the clip to play at. 99% of the time when I do this then export the clip looks extremely jumpy and is trash. 1% of the time the clip will export beautifully and a nice slow motion shot will be made. 100% of the time if I deinterlace the clip in the video options the clip will export with my desired speed reduction, and look decent, however it just doesn't look as pretty as an interlaced slow motion clip.
Am I doing something wrong? Why can't I export interlaced speed reduced video? Any helpful comments are appreciated.
Thank you,
