OK, First I had a problem with configuring my Ethernet Port on 2600 router but I got that fixed. NOW, after I set everything up I can not save it. This is what I get after I inter the(copy startup-config running-config)command:

Destination filename [running-config]?

Once I setup the router to provide DHCP it worked but could not save it then losted everything.

Vipergg and Burt, I think I'm also going to need your help on this one also. Sorry!!!

router>en
router#wr mem
or
router>en
router#copy run st
Then you hit return to accept the default---the message you get is asking you if this is how you want to save the running config as, like the name of it. In other words, you can call it whatever you want. Also, one tricky thing---do a sh ver and look for
configuration-register is blablabla
if it is 0X2142, then it won't load the config that you save. In that case, do this...
router>en
router#conf t
router(config)#config-register 2102
router(config)#end
router#wr mem
The "wr mem" is short for "write memory", which is almost the same as copy run start...but you don't have the choice of renaming the config. I don't know of anyone who does anyway...now to look at your third post...see you in a bit.

Oops, my bad---thought you posted again...nevermind bro.

copy startup-config running-config

thats actually the opposite of what you want to do...

copy running-config startup-config
shorter version of that is: copy run start
even shorter version: wr
