Hi,
I've got several RS6000 servers hooked up via Xyplex terminal server for their consoles. This setup works very well, except when the RS6000 loses power (shouldn't happen, since they are all on UPS, but it did just that last month, love those electricians!).
On it's way back up, it got hung at the E1F1 point on the LED. After telnetting into the port for each RS6000, the booting process continued, like I had just activated a console. This does not happen during normal reboots.
Here are the current settings:
9600, n, 8, 1, XON.
Most servers are running AIX 5.1, but I do have one using 4.3.3. All of them had this issue after the power failure.
Is there anything I can setup on the AIX side to have it just continue without acknowledgement?
Thanks,
Kevin
