Problems with Radeon X550

I might as well explain as fully as I can.

Firstly, my X550 crashed often when playing games, which frustrated me to no end. In the end, I asked a friend of mine for help, who suggested I update the drivers for it.

I did so, downloading the suite pack at

http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeonx-xp.html

However, now whenever I start up my PC, it wont use the X550 as the gfx card! It only starts up using my in-built VGA card.

If anyone can help, I'll greatly appreciate it...

change bios settings, primary video set to pci-e.
disable onboard vga when u dont need it
