Anyone have problems with print margins defaulting for every report. Who can I set print margins permantly for each report. The DB is shared by a couple of machines.
Go to File, Page Setup, Page tab. Set Specific Printer rather than Default. Then save it.<br><br>This answer was posted in this forum previously. I think that is all you have to do.

I have the same issue for printing sheets of presized labels to apply to production objects. Depending on which area this is used, the printer can change from laser to inkjet with differing models.
You have to specify "default printer" and set up your report with a sloppy margin to encompass all the various changes your default printers will employ.
This is time comsuming although in the end, as new printers are added, the generic setup will in all likelyhood work fine. With this I have coded reports with margins as small as .2"
If you are using Access 2000 you need to turn off Track Name AutoCorrect Info on the Options menu on the General tab. If this is checked Access will keep resetting the margins on some of your reports. This is a known bug in Access 2000 and the fix above is from Microsoft. Also if you have reports with more than one column they will keep getting reset to one column.
