Problems with preparead switch

So I have one DC for our entire forest running Server 2003 (32-bit). I'm installing our first Exchange Server ever, which happens to be exchange server 2007. So I'm running the 32-bit version of the software to prepare the domain and forest for the Exchange Server. Setting up the schema went without a hitch. But when I try and run preparead, I get this error. I'm really new to Exchange Server. Any insight?

Ok, well I got it to work. Here's what I did, not sure if it's what I should have done. First of all, I didn't install MMC 3.0 on my DC. Not sure if this was it. I also started the RPC locator service. I found a couple links that might help you:
