Problems with ppy enterprise.

Hi, i have installed ppy enterprise 7.0 on a windows 2000 server sp4. Few days a go when a user consult a cube on the portal get this error "out of memory". I ask the cognos provider in my country and he says that the problem is the compatibility problem with the version of ppy enterprise and win2k server. he recommends to us to upgrade to the new version of cognos products (7.0...).

Do somebody know why this problem is displayed?? and how can i fix the problem without migrating to the new version of cognos products??

The server has 1 gb of ram and about 190 gb of free space on disk.
