Hi,
How do I specify a standard page height for all my web pages.
Also, if theres going to be alot of content I want the page to scroll down automatically.
But in those situations where content is very small how can I tell the page to fit the browser, and not have it shrunk to a half page.
Help appreciated.

What type of page do you have to do this with? It can get very tricky sometimes to do this if you don't know how. If you want this effect for having a menu background or background image stretching to the bottom, there are much easier alternatives than tables. Otherwise...

Just run a 1px wide table cell up the one side of your whole table. May have to rowspan it.

Then put a 1px wide transparent gif in there. A spacer.

Then set the height of that gif to whatever you like. Your smallest pages will still be held to the taller table because of the spacer gif.

Now, this takes aome practice if you have a complex table structure, because you can knock tables out of whack when the page expands or is full of content. So experiment.

This is the best way I have found to ensure cross browser compatability for a minimum height table.

Uuuhh...sorry...I didn't read into that the issue of going 100%. Just a specified size.

I have however made that work at 100%. It is all iin the table structure. It was difficult to get the older Netscape to recognize it.

I know I used 100% as the image height.

I will see if I can dig up a sample.
