Hello all,
I'm trying to install Oracle 8.1.7 on a Solaris 7 box, but keep hitting the wall at a 'Disk Location' dialogue box. According to the (laughingly called) 'Help' available for this message, it seems to be telling me that there isn't enough disk space. There is - there's 4 Gb in the oracle filesystem and 375 in /tmp (swap).
Anyone else had this phenomenon occur and if so, can they offer any clues as to what Oracle might be seeing that I'm not.
Thanks in advance.
