Problems with NTBackup

We've an SBS 2003 server running Backup Exec and recently had to change the Travan Drive. Since doing so it's refused to backup after the tape being used once.

So I stopped the Backup Exec services and tried NTBackup which I normally find faultless under SBS 2003.

When I try NTbackup I get a message "There is no free media available with the selected type. Add unused media or click cancel ..................."

Did you reformat your tapes, or use new tapes when you switched to NTBackup?
