I'm tring to clone some Save Sets using

nsrclone -s server -b pool -S ssid

and i can see that the reading drive of the clone process is three or four times slower than the writting drive, but not with all 'ssids' (Save Sets Ids). This problem is not related with the drive, because this happen with all drives.

Reagards,
Juanjo

sorry,

the slower drive is the one that write,
and then, where i say reading drive i wanted to say writing drive.

Hi again,

i have found the reason of my problem in this thread

Cloneing with Networker 6.1.x

Thanks,
Juanjo

Besides the fact that the slower device rules the scenario, it is
also obvious if you recover only a single save set from a multiplexed media -
the media just has to travel along unnecessary data blocks.
However, NW can also clone/recover all multiplexed save streams
at the same time, if required.

1. run mminfo -q "query" -r "ssid" > file

2. Clone with nsrclone -f file

You will find more details in the Man Pages.
