This is a very peculiar situation.
Currently our production system is running E2k on Win2k Advanced server in a two(2) node cluster.
Services can be moved easily from node(1) to node(2) manually and vice-versa using cluadmin.
However on the original preferred Node(1), whenever ALL the services are running on this node, outlook clients get this error ONLY for new messages "CAN'T OPEN THIS ITEM". However old items can be opened ie messages sent while services were running on Node(2).
Outlook clients works fine when ALL services are running on Node(2).
So effectively the cluster is non-functional.
We will like some stability in the current version as downtime is frequent. Frequently error 1123 occurs when Node (2) loses communication on the Public network and the system fails over to Node (1).
N.B We are currently planning moving to E2k7, hoping to accomplish this project over the next nine(9) months.
Will appreciate any help in resolving this issue.
