Can anybody tell me why this alarms appears:

CLASS: 2
344 CIL, FAULTY CONNECTION TO NIU PORT
DATE TIME ALP NOIF EQU BRDID INF1
22OCT09 20:33:23 1 1 001-1-72-00 106 1

345 INFORMATION COMPUTER, FAULTY COMMUNICATION CHANNEL
DATE TIME ALP NOIF EQU BRDID
22OCT09 20:37:20 3 1 001-1-72-04 106

I do not believe it is the connections to the NIU, I have restartet the card, but the alarms appears after some secs

It is your SMDR or CDR PC that is disconnected from the NIU.
SMDR = Station Message Detailed recording.
CDR = Call Detailed recording.
Please post:
CLINP;
EDFIP;
IONPP;
IONCP;

SMDR/CDR is a list of all calls that have been made in the system. The SMDR/CDR system must be online all the time, otherwise you will get these alarms.

I think, these two alarms are for same problem.

ie, instead of inserting the SMDR/CDR connector to port 00 of NIU, you inserted it to the port 04. check it.

Ok, thanks so far
I checked this remote only by this time

The customer has checked the CIL connection, and it seems like it is ok

Could the NIU2 be faulty?, or need to be disconected and restartet?
Which PU's should be restartet?
