Please try the following:

* If you reached this page by clicking a link, contact the Web site administrator to alert them that the link is incorrectly formatted.
* Click the Back button to try another link.

Technical Information (for support personnel)

* Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words HTTP and 404.
* Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for topics titled Web Site Setup, Common Administrative Tasks, and About Custom Error I have one hosting package and multiple domains. I am using Front page.

I'm no expert at IIS, but I suspect the IIS forum might be a better bet for help with this question.

Hope this helps,

a few directions to look into:

-u have to define virtual folders
-your folder structure should reflect
C:\websites\domain1\deafault.asp
C:\websites\domain2\deafault.asp
C:\websites\domain3\deafault.asp
C:\websites\domain4\deafault.asp
where damainXYZ should be your virtual folder
-your dns server should have sites configured to point to particular root folders(virtual dirs)
All the best!

Is this running on your local machine or an external webserver?

This is a bit of a stab in the dark but...

What is the actual URL you are typing into your browser?

If this is on a local machine then I don't think that typing the path to the document within your local filesystem will work with asp pages as they will not get "served" via the asp parser in IIS.

Try
Also (in case you aren't asking for a specific document) check your IIS setup to ensure that under the Docuements tab for your default website you have checked "enable default document" and then check the order of the various options.
