Hi all,

I have been puting some movies up on the sharepoint site for training and i keep getting this error.

I cant seem to reslove the problem.
80040241: Cannot perform the requested action

Has anyone got any ideas. I have look on the net and have not had any luck with this one i am think that it might be a sharepoint porblem. Was just wondering if anyone else has had luck putting moives up on sharepoint.

Thanks.

Hello,

What kind of filetypes are these movies? How large are they? Have you set any limits on the maximum filesize in your sharepoint installation?

Cheers,
Thomas

when do you get the error? when uploading movies? or attempting to play? keep in mind your upload limit per the virtual server. what format are the movies?

We had to put up some similar stuff, but I opted to place them in an excluded directory and just built a page with links to the movies in the excluded directory, in order to not clog my database up, since they were all pretty big files.
