problems with Microsoft System Font 1

hi!
I programmed a director movie on a Macintosh. As the Projector has to run on PC's only I put the whole movie on a PC and had to change all the fonts into the Windows-System Font "MS Sans Serif" (Find->CMs->modify->Fonts, etc). It worked fine with all the field cast members, but caused problems with with the text cast members, because they change to another system-font, but not to "MS Sans Serif"!! I tried different things (copy-paste, insert media element -> font, etc...), but non has any effect on those text CMs! It works fine on some PC's, but on other ones it changes only the field CMs, not the text CMs.
Has anybody had similar problems or knows a solution for this strange problem?? I would be very happy...!!

Import the fonts you want to use, they are not perfect but should avoid the problems you have. You can also use the mac fonts that way (Test early and often though, they don't always look the same on the PC)

I have a problem:
I have created a director movie on a PC with the version Director 8.
And I want to have the equivalent of my movie with Director 7 for Mac...
How can I do ?

you have actually postet a new thread as an answer to my question.. no problem! it ist unfortunately not possible to save a director movie as a lower version of director! so if you have produced something on a director 8.0 its not possible to run it on director 7.0 or at least save it as a director 7.0 file!
