Everytime I open and close Word, Excel, doesn't matter which Microsoft program, I receive a message "Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec. And another thing that is happening is that I simply cannot run anything on my Windows Media Player. When I receive an email and try to open the screen becomes completely weird.

My guess is that you have a conflict with either your anti-virus software or Adobe Acrobat. Take a look at the XLSTART folder and the TEMPLATES folder, and remove all contents that did not come from Microsoft.

One place for these two folders is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office folder. Another place is in C:\Documents and Settings\your Windows log-in name\Application data\Microsoft. You'll need to check both places--I've got those folders in both places.

Conflict between Office 2000, 2002 or 2003 and Adobe Acrobat or Norton Anti-Virus: Conflict between universal translator and Office 2000:

WOW!! Thank you very much!!! The first option I didn't find any content to remove but when I went through the conflict I could finally solve it!!
