Hi all,

We are trying to do a netlogon on a Windows 2000 Domain through a router, but the test hasn't been succesful. We do NAT between the two networks, and I have found a note from Microsoft which tells us exactly where the problem is:
Apparently, our NAT is not translating the source IP address from the NetBIOS header on our network traffic. Do you know what must we modify on our router for allowing a correct NAT on our NETBIOS traffic?
Thanks a lot for your time.
Maria

You need to add static routes for your remote site at the router and at the domain server.
I had this problem with a Linux RAS PPP server running NAT, I solve the "No domain server" problem by adding static routes to the remote network at the Linux RAS box and at the domain server.
