Can anybody help please, I'm a novice when it comes to firewalls/routers.

Is there a setting on the Cisco PIX firewalls or Cisco routers that limits the size of incoming mail? If so how do I change it?

I don't have a problem sending large emails. I have no size limit set on my mail server.

Any help greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Andrew

As far as i know there is no setting to limit email size on any cisco fw product.

If you are having a problem, you can always try "no fixup protocol smtp 25" on the PIX and see if it corrects the problem. If it does not, then the issue is not the PIX.

ok thanks guys, looks like I'll have to look somewhere else other than the PIX for my answer. The no fixup protocol is already set.
