I have a scientific Atlanta modem with a linksys wireless router. Everything was fine and then suddenly i got a virus on my laptop and at the same time the wireless connection quit working. I tried my girlfriend's card and nothing... But I could still get on through a hardline to the router like this computer is.
It worked for a while then i suddently started losing connections on the laptop only... and now it just sits there gaining then losing the connection about 10 times a min and wont lock on.
Could the virus itself have something to do with the lost of the internet connections or is the laptop just dying, or is it the router?
