problems with installing Illustrator

I have recently installed Illustrator 10.0.3 on Win XP Pro.

When starting Illustrator 10.0.3 following error notification appears:

<<Subject: Font capture: Illustrator.exe - Entry point not found.

Message: The procedure entry point PIDMWinExpressDialog could not be located in the dynamic link library PLUGIN.DLL.>>

About 30 of these messages appear, all with the some subject, and then the programm is started.

I have tried different kinds of installation types, but each time with the same negative result...

Can someone help me out on this one???

Have you got Photoshop also installed on the same computer? Which did you install first? Because they share some DLLs, I recall there being real problems depending on which one was installed first. Can't remember the order you should do it to avoid problems, but it is probably the reverse of whichever way yours were done!! (assuming you also have PS installed). If so, uninstall both then reinstall in the reverse order.
