Copy & Paste - Fine

Text is Times New Roman - Fine

Text is Centre-Aligned (wasn't in original) - Not good

Select paragraph and press alignment button - Nothing happens

Try to resize text to 12 point - Nothing happens

Copy text, change font, reinsert & change font back - Now text is left-aligned but still unable to change size or change alignment from the toolbar

Defeated - Try Tektips

Any ideas why this is happening and/or what can be done about it?

Many thanks in advance.

Try Tools/AutoCorrect on the AutoFormat tab, try taking off the four checkboxes on the APPLY area. Sometimes I find this helps with any formatting and lists. Otherwise, it seems to automatically keep the formats. Hope this helps!!!

Thanks to you both.

Tech info: - Outlook 2000 SR-1

Mail type: - HTML

Umfortunately, MMCMOUS I don't appear to have an Autocorrect or an Autoformat tab selection in the tools menu or in any other menu as far as I can see. Should I have one?

Looked in Options, properties, font, styles & paragraph and just about every where else. They are not to be found.
