Hello,
I'm having problems with Informix restores.
1st problem: I'm backing up on one system and restoring the database to another. I've done this many times before, so I know it can be done. The problem I'm having with this one is that the restore stalls. I have 11 dbspaces restoring concurrently, and when it has restored around 6gb, it stalls. No error messages, does not abort. I've tried different tapes, with the same problem. Both systems are storage nodes, with local 3590 tape drives. The other day when trying this, the tape was not mounted locally in error, and I was able to restore 11 dbspaces concurrently, but it took 15 hours where it should take 6.
2nd problem: Now the next problem on this particular restore is the following message: "DBspace physdbs not recovered from same archive backup as DBspace rootdbs".
All dbspaces including Physdbs have been restored. This message appears in the Informix online log. I'm doing a point-in-time restore, and the logs tape is not even called in.
Thanks in advance for any help.
