Just set up a Norstar MICS-XC 5.0 with a T1. I can make outgoing calls with no problem,But Incoming calls, the caller hears ringback, but no phone rings. We only have 6 channels on the T1 that are programmed at the CO for our use. I put Lines 1 - 6 on a phone Appear & Ring. When a call was placed, no matter what number was called the phone rang on the line that Carried the call over the T1 from the CO, EX. Called went out on Channel 3 of the T1 and was recieved on Line 3 of the norstar and rang phone since line 3 was programmed to appear and ring. My question is, With a T1, is there a way to recieve digits (4) from any of the T1 channels and map it to a particular phone. All phones are set up as 4 digit dns.

If I understand your question correctly you would use target lines. Target lines are a range of lines in the norstar. You program target lines to recieve did numbers from the T-1 than assign the target line to a phone.

Make sure the prime set for each channel/line is set to none and the answer mode is set for auto.
