Problems with importing and connecting an access database

Hello, who can help me? I have PB 6,5 and access XP(2002) and I have an access DB which I want to import into PB 6,5 when I try to connect it I get the message:
sqlstate = s1003 (microsoft) (odbc)programtype is out of reach.

Please help me......

-Can you try upgrading to 6.5.1?-

thanks for your response but no I don't think so, Any other suggestions??
