I have repeated problems with imanager and similar services. For example typing the results in "page not available" message.

The problem at the moment is the same but this time its the page which won't load.

If I reboot the server sometimes the problem clears but not always and this is a too drastic solution anyway.

I tried unloading and reloading Tomcat33 and Apache but the command tomcat -stop doesnt seem to work! Java -exit does something but when I reload the problem persists

This has happened on more than 1 server (all are running netware 6 sp3)

has the server been rename or ip address cahnged?

the error is most likely in a conf file - check the httpd.conf

I'd like to know if you can get a page or an error when you go to
Or is the error only when you hit imanager and iprint?

Sometimes these are a bugger to fix but I think we can probably narrow it down to a few different places that are configured incorrectly.

The server has the same name and ip address since installation (last Nov)
The httpd.conf file has not been modified since the server was installed - The imanager etc services have been working its certain things stop occasionally - like ipp has now!

The "page cannot be displayed" error appears when you go to " imanager is currently ok iprint is not. iprint is ok on other servers

Thanks

Allan
