hey there!

well, I came across that page since I wanted to install Kazaa, and the Setup stopped, since something with an "RCP Stub" was wrong.
I had no clue what it was and wanted to look it up, coming across a thread where someone had problems (the same I have) with IE6 which was the following:

whenever I klick on a link which should be opened in a new window, nothing happens, also when I use the right-mouse-click to open it in a new window.
a new window opens, but nothing more than "Microsoft Internet Explorer" shows up, no url or anything of that sort.

so now, since it was the same problem, I followed the instructions given by someone called "carrr" to solve the problem. it worked for that particulat person, but not for me.

since I'm German, the only thing I wasn't sure about was the thing with the Internet Options and so on. I just can enable/ disable two JAVA options, which lead to a restart of the PC.
so I did that, I ran all the .dll things carr had suggested, I downloaded and installed j2re-142-beta-windows-j586-iftw and j2sdk-142-beta-windows-j586-iftw, downloaded the mcrepair and did what carrr had suggested, but maybe I did sth wrong, I'm not sure.

no matter what, it's still not working. even though I'm not fully sure if it really is a JAVA problem, because when I browse the Internet with the RealOnePlayer (the newest version, free), there is no problem. all windows open. but it has not all the features the IE6 has, so I'd like to have this problem fixed nevertheless.

thanks in advance for your help!
