Using Arcserve 6.61 with all the service packs on Windows NT 4.0 Sp6.

For some reason the DR boot disk wizard does not create the 5th disk, network boot disk. Anyone have any idea what this disk does and if I need to worry about it?

Thanks

Hi,
It depends on which kind of disk set you're trying to make : generic (local DR) or specific (for remote DR) disks?

If you wish to prepare DR floppies for the server where ARCserve resides, use only generic disks. The 5th disk won't be created as it's normal. Use "specific" only for making DR disks for a server without ARCserve and without a tape drive (you need Advanced Edition for doing so...).

Remember to run windisk and make a full backup of your server BEFORE running the DR Wizard.

Hope this helps,
LST
