Problems with default 5 day incremental backup

i am using arcserve for 2000 and wish to do a 5 day incremental backup with full backup on friday, arcserve happened to have a default config perfect for what i need. i tried to use this, set to 'overwrite' meda, yet when the job runs it says it can't find media to write to (works fine with other jobs) any idea what could be wrong ?

I suspect you are trying to use a pre-defined rotation scheme, and in that case, you will need to define a Media Set to go with it. If there is no media set defined, it will complain. Check out that functionality, but it's often more work than it's worth.

It's often easier to set up a full job to run on Friday, and a diff to run the rest of the week, and ignore the rotation function, as it has limitations.
