We are using ARCServe 6.6 on Novell 4.11 and am using an DLT Tape library for backups using the Autopilot feature. Upon changing out our weekly tapes the tapes put into the slots were supposedly erased. However when the system came up and looked at the tapes the system said that the tapes were Write-protected and gave it a name of "{SIDX ". The name is exactly as in the window. We can't find any documentation to explain what this name is and why it happened.<br>Has anyone had this happen to them and if so how did you solve the problem? Any help will be appreciated.
