Problems with application running under IWAM-user

Hello,
I wrote a VBS-script that starts several applications (and hands over parameters to them).
It all works perfect when I start the .vbs with my admin-user on the server. When I call the script through a .asp-page (shell execute) and run it under IWAM...-user it refuses to start some of the applications from time to time.
About 9 out of 10 times the applications start but sometimes they don´t. With my adm-user they always do.
Any hints are welcome!
