I recently reinstalled the JDK and since then none of the applets work in the Browser. I checked the Java Console and it says it can't find the class. The class file is in the same file as the .java and the .html files. My path is correct.

Help, I am new at Java and have exhausted every avenue I know to get this working.

Thanks
Jane

I think you've got a classpath problem. Did you check this environnement variable ? Water is not bad as long as it stays out human body ;-)

Are you using the Java Plug in with your browser? If you are using IE, then you have to go to Tools -> Internet Options->Advanced, then enable the Java Plug In (requires reboot).

Did you install a new version of JDK? I have noticed that sometimes my applets do not work on new version of JDK, but if I recompile them, then it works okay.

Hope that helps.
