I am trying to delete records from Table A that don't match records in Table B. I run an unmatched records query from the query wizard to get the results. I then change it to a delete query. It basically shows all records (*) from Table A (delete:from) and the field from Table B as the criteria (delete:where criteria:is null). I am getting the message "Could not delete from specified tables". Does anyone have any hints as to what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance. [sig][/sig]

Check the query porperties...

See if UniqueRecords is set to yes. [sig]
Phooey
Andrew.j.harrison@capgemini.co.uk
Otherwise known as Windy Bottom.[/sig]

I have the exact same problem, and I checked the
UniqueRecords property, and its set to No.

I know there are many other ways of doing this,
but I would like to be able to figure out why this
isnt working.

Any ideas?
