Problems when sending Jpeg attachments

Hi all!

I am posting this here in the hope that someone might shed some light on this weird problem I am encountering.

An outside client of ours who uses MS Entourage as his e-mail client and MAC OS X sends us jpegs via e-mail. We open and view them normally from our Notes client i.e. Notes 7 and 8 but when we send them back to the client he is unable to open them at times. Furthermore one of the jpeg files changed size and had an extension of HQX.

Any ideas what could be happening? Our mail server is running Domino 7.0.2 FP2

This sounds like an encoding issue to me. Try zipping up the JPEG files before sending it back to the Mac user.
