Hi everyone!
When I moved my .qry file that I build from SQL designer, It seems like my report lost the location of the file. My_report.rpt tells me that the dictionairy has change. I tried opening it discarding this message to try to set the location thru Report Designer but I cannot switch the location.
Any idea? [sig][/sig]

This is a bug.

When you open the report you have to select the option "Choose Dictionary". This is misleading because you are picking a query not a dictionary. You then have to browse to the QRY file and select it. If it doesn't show the files of type QRY you can manually type this in the field name box:

*.qry

This will show qry files and you can select the appropriate one.

It is best to move a COPY of the QRY to the new location, and then use set location to change the report from using old QRY to new QRY. [sig]<p>Ken Hamady<br><a href=mailto:ken@kenhamady.com>ken@kenhamady.com</a><br><a href= Reports Training by Ken Hamady</a><br>[/sig]
