Problems viewing webpages with a Mac

In the process of designing a site, I am experiencing problems with the way browsers
on a Mac render HTML pages. Depending on the particular Mac I use, some standard HTML tags don't seem to work or work erratically. Does anyone know of any problems or bugs that might cause a Mac to not render web pages correctly?

Usually you have to modify your code for a specific browser, their is some good browser sniffing code at What tag is giving you the problem.....
